Bangkit 2022 designed to prepare students with the necessary technology skills and certifications, the Bangkit curriculum offers 3 interdisciplinary learning pathways — machine learning, mobile development and cloud computing. By the end of the programme, you will be equipped with the technology skills and soft skills you need to move from academia to the workplace and succeed in leading companies.

During these 2 months, I learned many things at Bangkit. In the first week, I learned kotlin programming from coding, I learned the basics from kotlin to OOP programming from kotlin itself. And there is also a so-called “weekly consultation”, namely sharing, exchanging stories about the problems they face, especially the problems they experienced during the Bangkit program.

Guest Speaker Session

On Bangkit there is also a “guest speaker session”, in this event, Bangkit members will get information, tips, how to become a more professional person according to the theme being raised, and this event is not mandatory.

Guest Speaker Session #1

This session will discuss the path to becoming a Professional Software Engineer, presented by Puja Pramudya (Senior Software Engineering Manager of Bukalapak, Founder of Radya Labs and Alkademi)

Guest Speaker Session #2

This session will cover the pathway of building a Great Startup, brought by Imanuel Abraham (Marketing Manager, MTarget.co | Co-founder Penakota.id)

Guest Speaker Session #3

This session will cover the pathway of Android Developer Career, brought by Andrew Kurniadi (Google Developer Expert — Android | Co-founder & CEO — Lumio.id)

Guest Speaker Session #4

This session will cover the pathway of Cloud Technology, brought by Nurendratoro Singgih (Group CTO — Perintis Teknologi Nusantara, PT)

ILT & English Session

On bangkit, I also joined the ILT session (Softskills & Mobile Dev) and English Session. Some of the ILT session themes include:

  • Kotlin Programming — Mobile Dev / Hardskill
  • Time Management — Softskill
  • Spoken Correspondence — English Session
  • Android Fundamental: Fundamental & Navigation — Mobile Dev / Hardskill
  • Professional Branding & Interview — Softskill

Sruggle at Bangkit

While following Bangkit, I also attended lectures on campus full of 23 credits, . As well as working to meet the daily needs in the boarding house. I also manage the community on my campus, and there are several other activities.

From some of the activities that I did, at first I had a little difficulty managing them. But when I was at my lowest point, I only remembered 2 names. My mother and father. On the other hand, my facilitator, Ms. Yustikamasy Astica, has always been support and helping us to continue to complete our tasks at Bangkit well.

And some of the mindsets that I instilled in myself are:

- Take your failure quota as early as possible
- The more difficult the problem, the better
- I like challenges, problems = challenges
- Always look for your own faults instead of busy looking for other people’s faults
- ?????

Overall, I got a lot of experience, friends and knowledge here (Bangkit).
I hope that I can complete this program with satisfactory grades (Full Graduate), and can be a bridge for the next generation in my campus later.

Thank you.
